Privacy Policy
Your memories are yours. This policy explains what we collect, what we don't, and the choices you have.
1. Who we are
SlideshowVideoMaker (the “App”) is published by Transform Inc (“we”, “us”, “our”). This policy applies to the App and to this website. Questions? Contact us at support@slideshowvideomaker.app.
2. Information we handle
2.1 Content you create
Photos, videos, music, voice recordings, text, stickers and drawings you add to a project are used only to build your slideshow. Projects and exported videos are stored on your device (and in your own iCloud/Photos library if you have those enabled). We do not receive a copy.
2.2 Permissions we may request
- Photos & videos: to let you select media for your slideshows and to save exported videos.
- Microphone: only when you record a voice over. Recording starts only when you tap record.
- Media library (Music): to import songs available on your device, subject to Apple’s DRM rules.
- Network: to load music categories and downloadable content, and to process purchases.
You can change or revoke any permission at any time in iOS Settings → SlideshowVideoMaker.
2.3 Information collected automatically
To keep the App stable and improve it, we and our service providers may collect limited technical and usage information, such as device model, iOS version, app version, language, crash logs, performance diagnostics, and anonymous feature-usage events. This information is not used to identify you personally.
2.4 Purchases and subscriptions
If you buy a subscription or in-app purchase, the transaction is handled by Apple. Our subscription provider receives a purchase receipt and an anonymous identifier so we can unlock your features. We never see your payment card details.
2.5 Advertising
The free version of the App may display ads served by third-party advertising networks, which may use an advertising identifier to show ads and measure performance. On iOS you decide whether apps may track you via the App Tracking Transparency prompt, and you can change this any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
3. How we use information
- To operate and deliver the App’s features;
- To diagnose crashes, fix bugs and improve performance;
- To process and restore purchases;
- To show relevant ads in the free version;
- To respond to your support requests;
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. Third-party services
We use trusted providers that act on our behalf, such as analytics and crash reporting (e.g., Google Firebase), advertising (e.g., Google AdMob), and subscription management (e.g., RevenueCat). Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy and only for the purposes described above. We do not sell your personal information.
5. Sharing
We share information only (a) with the service providers above, (b) when required by law or to protect rights and safety, or (c) in connection with a business transfer, in which case this policy continues to protect your data. When you share an exported video through the iOS share sheet, you choose where it goes.
6. Data retention
Your projects stay on your device until you delete them (use Delete project or uninstall the App). Technical and diagnostic data is retained only as long as needed for the purposes above.
7. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. Because your media is processed on-device, it benefits from iOS security features. No method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
8. Children’s privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, email support@slideshowvideomaker.app. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
10. International transfers
Our service providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
11. This website
This website is a static information site. It does not require an account. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and user agent) for security and analytics.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
